Bella managed to get into Iggy’s bed for the first time today, and of course I took photos of the occasion. They’ve been sleeping together now for about an hour and a half. They are adorable!

Here it is!
1. Describe one life-altering experience in your life that you haven’t already told me.
I think you know all the important ones already. Getting picked on in grade school was life altering. It taught me how to stick up for myself and got me on the road to my current life path and was formative in me deciding to pursue certain businesses in my adult life.
2. What is your earliest memory?
I was 3 years old, riding in a trailer towed behind my dad’s garden tractor and urging my dad to make the tractor go faster and faster and being really happy with the wind in my face and the world seeming to pass by so quickly.
3. If you could be the size of a puppy wolfe for one day, what would you do?
I would play like I’d never played before. I’d romp and wrestle and bite. I’d find a nice cool stream with those lovely pebbly rocks to lay down in, and I’d be sure to find little girls to give me lots of hugs and kisses.
4. What are your favourite smells?
I loved the smell of my cat, Mishima. He smelled SO good. I love the way you and katt smell; I love girl smells! I love the scent of patchouli and sandalwood. I love the smell of rain after a long dry spell. I love the smell of fresh bed linen. I love the smell of the ocean. I love the smell of pie baking in the oven.
5. If you could change just one thing in your life, what would it be?
The student loans would disappear like they should have in 2001.
I have a horrible confession to make.
I like the TV series babylon 5. Ok, not just like - I love it. I started watching B5 in the middle of the second season and I was hooked. I’d seen a few of the first season episodes a year prior but didn’t really notice it all that much. B5 went through a few different TV stations and even got taken off air locally, and at one point there was a B5 group organized through SFU that had tapes episodes of seasons 4 and 5 sent from the UK so that we could watch at Images theatre at SFU as they came out. Yes, I am both pornographer *and* geek.
I have the first 4 seasons taped on VHS, but lack the 5th season and all of the TV movies. I was perusing amazon.com and saw that they had every season and every movie on DVD!
So now starts my quest to get all 5 seasons and the TV movies on DVD!
This week has been a mix of good news and bad news. The bad news is that we’ve been contacted by a government agency regarding our student loans and they want to charge us 3 times what we are paying now. I was stunned to hear from them considering I had come to an agreement with them regarding payments that they now seem to have disregarded completely. Besides the fact that we can barely afford to pay what we’re paying now, it’s been extremely stressful to have to deal with this for so long. I am hoping we can work something out that we can afford. The other set of bad news is that Katt and her (now ex) boyfriend have split up, and that has caused a big dip in Katt’s mood. She cares for people very deeply and she’s a very giving person, and it’s really unfortunate when she’s not given back anywhere near what she gives.
The good news is that Katt doesn’t seem to be suicidal, even with the stress of her breakup. I think it’s been hard for her not to slip into that mindset, but she’s been doing the best she can in terms of self care and getting out of the house to keep herself busy rather than isolate herself. I’m really proud of her. We’ve found a new family Dr. to replace our old Dr. who is closing her practice. We just need to find her a new psychiatrist and we’ll be all caught up with doctor replacements.
My relationship with Tanuki is going really well. She has become family and the more time passes the more wonderful she seems to become! When I think of my future, she’s there with me. I love the fact that we share so many values and long term goals and that we have as much chemistry on an intellectual and emotional level as we do on a sexual level. She truly rocks. She’s got the most amazing way of looking at me that I absolutely adore. I am happy that she and Katt have become close. It gives me a wonderful feeling that the two people I care about the most also care about each other.
On the business/creative front we’ve gotten loads of photos done for the sites recently. We went from 5 general niche websites to 19 specific niche websites a few months ago and it’s meant that we have had to produce content at a much more accellerated rate to keep up with weekly updates for each site. I’m still trying to figure out an update system that works for me so that I can keep the sites updated on time every week. I have a habit of forgetting something and I have to work on that. On top of the content production and site updates I have to do a lot of promotion for the new sites. The promotion is my least favorite part; it can get very monotonous and repetitive.
I’m trying not to stress out too much about money or about health issues. I keep reminding myself that stressing out isn’t productive and that all I can do is my best. It can be hard to take my own advice sometimes, but I try to stay on track.

I’m just listening to an Oprah segment where a woman posed for porn and her entire community turned against her. She was a guidance counselor of some sort and posed for an adult magazine, and she felt she needed to quit her job because of her ‘lapse in judgement’. An all the while Oprah is sitting there saying, “What were you thinking? didn’t you use common sense?” And there’s this guy talking now who equates her doing nude photography with being a poor role model for the young women in her community.
WTF??
If I were in her position, and I *have* been in her position, I would have (and did) fought for my right to do what I want with MY body. That is what being a role model is about. Being a role model has nothing to do with conforming to societies expectations. Being a role model means that you live your life with passion and conviction and are unapologetic for actions which are perfectly safe, sane, and consensual, but go against societies expected norms.
The term ‘lapse’ in judgement’, in most cases, is really used to mean “someone who does something that we think is immoral or goes against the status quo”. It would be nice to see more publicised cases of people standing up for themselves. Most of what we see on TV is meant to enforce the status quo and doesn’t show people who are unapolgetic for being themselves and proud about it.

Katt and I have been working quite hard on creating some free porn sites over the last few weeks and today they are finally online! They aren’t entirely finished yet; there is still a lot of free galleries to go up, but they’ve all got a good start. We’ve gotten permission to grab galleries from many different websites to showcase on this site, so there should be something that almost everyone is interested in. I’ve also created a link list inside the site as well for sites to advertise and promote their wares, specific to the theme of each site. I’m pretty excited about the launch of these sites. it’s ncie to be able to give some free stuff away! Each of these buttons goes to it’s own site.
