I can’t really get into details of the mediation session today, but in short, nothing happened. I am not even sure why they bothered to send someone when they didn’t intend on reaching a settlement at all. It blows me away that the government would send two people, all expenses paid, from Ontario, to say nothing. Anyways, now the process goes into formal investigation. That process, in some cases, can take a few years, so we’re not holding our breaths.
I did do a good job of representing Katt, however. I was firm and solid and well informed. Yay for me.
Now, I am off to pack for our trip to Victoria. I’ve got a few loads of laundry in the wash so I have my favorite clean shirts for the trip.
I need to win a lottery.

I’ve been watching the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina on TV today. The devastation is horrible. I continually saw images of people looking at houses saying that their friend wouldn’t leave their home and they died when the house collapsed on them.
My heart really goes out to the people who lost homes and family.

I am going to close down BiWolfe. It has not had a sign up in months, has no active membership, and there have been no updates in over a year. I just don’t have the desire to keep it going. It is not very likely I’ll get the desire to boff boys for the site. If I’m going to boff a boy it’ll be because he’s hot, not because I need photos for a website. Damn my fussy sex drive.
I am trying to decide what to do with the site. The easiest thing to do would be to change it into a free site, and put a swack of ads for sites like Three pillows and Alt.com. I could also change it into a sex/politics blog with a free photo section (with ads of course) and talk about some of the things I don’t really mention in this blog.
Or I could just let it die. But that would be a waste of the traffic I have spent years building.

Tomorrow I spend a few hours studying charter law in relationship to a human rights complaint I filed on behalf of Katt so I can argue intelligently during the HR mediation session on Wednesday. That is going to be… err.. exciting. Then we’re heading to Victoria on Thursday for Katt’s dad’s 70th birthday. We’ll be back on the 5th for another appointment on the 6th. Then I have a few days off, and on the 10th I have my second MRI; the first on my left ankle at 7 freaking am.
No PNE this year it seems.
Busy Busy Busy.
I will try to squeeze in a workout tomorrow morning before I sit down to prepare for Thursday. I wish I could afford a lawyer to do this for me, but who can afford 200 bucks an hour. Worse comes to worse, the mediation doesn’t work and we wait for the complaint to be investigated formally by the HRC. I’d just rather get it over and done with now.
So. I am going to do my best.
I’ve been feeling under the weather lately. It was nice to get back in the gym today and work off some steam. I skipped my lower back exercises because my back is still sore, but I was able to do my chest and upper back. I swam a few laps in the pool afterwards and then soaked in the lovely hot tub. I love hot tubs. It helped a fair bit with my back.
I’ve been playing online poker a lot lately. The free kind. I like that there’s a free option, since I don’t like gambling. The only kind of gambling I do partake in is the hospital lottery. I’d donate to the hospitals anyways, so this is a way to add some exitement. I’m not a very good poker player yet anyways. I go for spells where I play really well, starting at 1500 chips and winning as many as 100,000 in an evening. The next night I’ll lose all those chips. It’s certainly entertaining.
I spent the vast majority of my afternoon and evening reading. I am re-reading The Death gate Cycle. I’m on the 5th book now. It’s an interesting series. I can always tell when i’m stressed because I read like a demon.
Oh, and it’s cool outside! I can walk to the corner store without soaking my shirt! YAY!

I’m going to try to work out tomorrow. My back is still very sore, but I am going stir crazy without exercise. I will take it very easy, however.
I was originally planning on bulking up to 230-240lbs before I started cutting weight, but I’ve decided to start cutting now that I’m at 225lbs. This means I will cut my daily calories from 4000/day that I ate while on my bulking cycle to 3200 calories a day. That should result in a 2lb loss per week, on the upper limit. I’ll continue to cut until I get to 200-205lbs, about 8-10 weeks, and then start a bulking cycle again. It will be easier to cut now than to wait.
Of course that means I need to cut carbs again. My protein intake stays at 200-250g/day, and my fat intake stays at about 71g/day. That means my carbs needs to be at around 375-425g/day. Bye Bye cola .
Hopefully I will be able to manage at the gym tomorrow. Most of my day 1 exercises are for my chest and back, so I’m either lying down on my back or on my stomach. I won’t do any lower back exercises at all.

Well, not really. George Bush and Paul Martin somewhat qualify for the denotation of zombiehood given their decaying mindless governmental policies, but they are still beathing; so they don’t technically qualify.
Ok. The back is still sore, but I can sit at the computer for a bit longer now than I could yesterday or the day before, so I am actually getting a little work done. Instead of my usual 6-8 hours I might make 2 today. Better than nothing!
I figured out how to set up hosted galleries for my websites. Using .shtml I have been able to allow my affiliates to insert their reseller codes into the hosted galleries so they get credit for sales they send through the HG. I’m really excited by this. It means I have a whole new market I can enter, TGP’s. It will make my affiliate programs much more attractive to other webmasters. The great thing is that it only took me about 30 minutes to set it up on existing HG’s I had already set up, and another 10minutes to e-mail my resellers. Yeehaw! So, if you’re a verotel treasureclub reseller and you need to know how to make hosted galleries, send me an e-mail and I’ll send you the code.
In the spirit of making an effective affiliate marketing, I am setting up a new website, www.erotibucks.com. I’m installing Mambo, a content management system, to a) see if it is a viable CMS for my sites, and b) because I like new toys. Don’t expect there to be anything there yet except the default mambo template. It is slow going because I have to take a break every 10-15 minutes to cringe and rest me back. Hooray for Tylenol 3’s!
I need some lovely curvy lasses to photograph too. If you’re a lovely curvy lass, or even if you’re not curvy and would enjoy having your photo taken, please let me know. Both Katt and I are very professional and very good photographers!
And with that, it is cringing and resting time.
Saw the Dr about my back and filed a claim at the insurance co. today. No whiplash or anything, but my back is in spasm, so I’m taking muscle relaxants and tylenol 3’s for the discomfort, and staying as still as I can. Unfortunately, it’s hard to sit at the computer for very long before I get sore and have to lie down. I won’t be able to get much done for the next few days. The good news is that it should take care of itself in a few weeks.
I’m documenting of course. It’s good sense. I have a folder for reciepts and such.
Off to lie down. Too sore.
I was in a car accident today. I was at a full stop at an intersection at a red light and some guy in a big pickup clipped the right rear bumper and tail lights of the car. After he clipped me he smacked another car. All I heard was a big BANG and then saw the guy in the next lane telling me he whacked me good.
My back was really jarred in the collision, and is super sore and stiff. I have to go get some muscle relaxants soon - but that would require moving, and moving hurts. Ow.
