Bald again

Ξ November 30th, 2005 | → 4 Comments | ∇ General, Porn Notes |

I shaved my head last night. I got tired of having to wash and style it every day. You have no idea how much more convenient being bald is. I know I’ll have some disappointed friends and viewers, some of whom were very excited when I started growing my hair out. After going to the gym and seeing what I looked like repeatedly while working out though, the hair had to go. Talk about crazy. See, the trick is to look -good- all the time, and NOT look like a rabid Wolfe.

Yeah.

I’m downloading, editing, and rendering video today. I have some major updates to do. Business has been very slow, so I’m making sure to make the best edits and clips I can. I really need to do more work in general, but it’s been hard to get motivated lately. I work in fits and starts most of the time. The major area I need to focus on right now is making some gallery pages and marketing affiliate programs. That has potential to do well if I can manage to sit down and work for more than an hour at a time.

Hmm.. time to make dinner.

More changes!

My lovely princess, Katt, has made a new top graphic for me! I loved the black wolf I had there before, but it wasn’t balanced very well. This new one rocks most rockily!

Not only that, she made a snow background for me too.

Yay!

The Wish List meme got me thinking..

Ξ November 29th, 2005 | → 0 Comments | ∇ General |

There is a wish list meme going around, so I figured I’d chime in too.

Let’s see.

I have pretty much everything I need. I can pay my bills. I have a roof over my head. I have books. Just a few years ago this wasn’t the case. Four years ago I was in financial hell. We don’t have much extra, but I’m happy to say things are better now.

I’d like to do something for my community this year. As I’ve written before we live in Gastown; one block away from the heart of the DTES that is the home to the majority of the homeless and drug addicted people in Vancouver. It’s a growing issue in cities around North America. I heard on the news tonight that the number of homeless people in Vancouver has doubled in the last for years. That’s pretty scary.

I’ve been thinking of things I can do this year, especially for the folks that have to sleep in the street because they can’t find shelter. I’m going to think about this for a few days and see what I can do that is affordable and serves a real purpose.

So yeah, I don’t need anything. Make a donation to the food bank or bring a blanket to a shelter.

Ch Ch Ch Ch Changes

Ξ November 29th, 2005 | → 0 Comments | ∇ General |

I made some minor cosmetic changes to my journal today. I got bored of the last design so I spruced it up.

I now have a photo of my totem animal in my journal. I wanted to do that when I first set it up but I couldn’t find an image that I liked. This is the best one and closest one that I could find that reminds me of me.

It’s a little unbalanced though. My eye keeps beig drawn to the rioght side of the screen, but I hope it’s balanced enoug with the quotes on the left to make it manageable.

I love Katt. It was love at first sight. One thing about facing adversity together, as we have, is that it really deepens your appreciation and love for one another. I’ve learned more about love in the last four years than I ever knew. I’ve learned that love is deep, love is constant, love is persistant, and that love evolves. You know it’s really love when adversity makes you love all the more, and strive harder to make a relationship work.

Love isn’t blind. Love has 30/20 vision. Love sees all your flaws and all your strengths and encompasses them within it’s self.

-edit-

I wrote this entry in 2003. I was surfing my blog stats and saw it was a popular one, and it related directly to my sweetheart.

Snow again?, Iggy, & politics

Ξ November 28th, 2005 | → 4 Comments | ∇ General |

The lower mainland is expecting 2-5cm (approx 1-2″) of snow tonight! Of course, here in Vancouver, we’re at sea level so it might be rain mixed with snow.

I am hoping for snow, and I’ve got my camera ready, because I’m working on a new theme for my journal, and I need a title photo with snow for it.

Iggy went to the vet for his annual checkup today. The only issue that came up is that Iggy is a little chubby. No more table scraps for the pig! He also had his anal glands expressed. That wasn’t pleasant for him or for me. Peeeeyew. Other than that he’s as healthy as can be.

I love my dogs a lot, and I do my best to make sure they are healthy. That way they will both live for a long, long, time.

There’s going to be a federal election in January. The minority liberal government was defeated in a non confidence vote today. How stupid are the conservatives, NDP, and the PQ? We’re likely going to end up with a really low voter turnout (unfortunately I think it might be the conservatives that come out to vote because the liberals don’t care). We’re also likely to end up with another liberal minority government.

I don’t like politics. It’s set up around an adversarial party system and I don’t think such a system can ever be representative. I’d much rather see a party-less system where people are voted in based on their constituent’s needs rather than a party’s policy.

I don;t like any of the political parties, but the one I dislike the elast is the liberals. At least they are socially progressive, and economically somewhat viable. The conservatives will just end up bringing back social equality to the dark ages, and the NDP is a joke. See spot run, See spot trip, see Spot break his nose.

Ah well. Overall I don’t think it matters all that much. Like many, I have little confidence in our system. Whatever government comes into office, there will be a slow, inexorable, change towards a more socially liberal society over the decades to come. Some governments will cut some things and increase others, and other governments will increase some things and cut others. Overall I think teh balance will continue to be a positive one.

Quotations & Climate Change

Ξ November 27th, 2005 | → 3 Comments | ∇ General |

I’ve added quotations to my journal. I have had an image near the top of my journal that I change every now and again, but I got tired of doing it manually, so I installed a random quote generator that allows me to enter whatever quotes I want displayed.

I entered a lot of quotes that I particularly like and that identify my own beliefs and feelings on a variety of subjects. Albert Einstein is by far one of the most quoted people in my list. Mark Twain is also a frequently quoted person on my list. Both were certainly very interesting people and Einstein in particular was an individual that I respect.

On another note. I was watching a documentary on climate change tonight that quite thoroughly refuted the global warming theory. The climatologists collected data from various methods that gave them a picture of the climate over the last thousand years. Their evidence suggests that we are in a normal climate fluctuation and that global warming is a bunch of crap. Based on their evidence, I’m inclined to believe them.

Of course, even with global warming being potentially debunked, pollution is still bad. Bad Bad Bad. BAD. Yes. We’re still poisoning our environment and it will eventually come back to haunt us in one way or another. How the ‘normal’ climate shift will affect us, I’m not sure. Whatever the causes, it’s bound to have an affect on our immediate environment.

It’s a really interesting time to be alive. The world is going through a lot of change and it could lead to momentous good, mediocrity, or shite. I’m an optimist. I think that we’ll dig ourselves out of or hole, and dig ourselves a more comfortable one. We’ll see. Tiem will certainly tell.

Obviosuly it’s a mormon polygamy thing, since the challenge is in Utah, but opens possibilities for plural marriage everwhere in the US.

Some excitement

Ξ November 26th, 2005 | → 1 Comments | ∇ Sex Talk |

I’m excited. It is supposed to snow tomorrow. Yes yes, I know. I’m a 34 year old man and I get all excited because it might snow. Ptttht. What can I say, in some ways I’m old and stodgy, and in other ways I’m still a litte boy.

I’m not sure if we’re going to make it to Cirque de Sade tonight. It will very likely be a last minute decision, but somehow given that Katt is still sleeping, I don’t think it’s going to happen.

As part of my decision to do a little exploration of uncovered areas of my sexuality, I’ve decided to try urethral sounds, catheters, and genital electric play. I want to see if I can get different ranges of sensations with different kinds of genital play. Who knows, I may find a way to get a better orgasm, and that is a worthy goal.

I’ve also decided to be open to developing casual play relationships with men, women, and/or couples.

Big Daddy Wolfe needs some lovin.

As such I’ve amended some of my personal ads out there to include the fact that I’m available. Of course, I’m still fussy. Thats always been a bigger barrier than anything else. But I’m working on it.

I’ve really been feeling hyper sexual lately. I was telling Katt the other day that if she ever gets her libido back we should look for a male lover. I have some very happy memories of some of our past male lovers. There’s one in particular that I would definitely look up if he was still local. Yummy.

I’d better stop before my mind gets fixated!
