We had our first snow fall yesterday. It hasn;t stuck around in many places, of course, but it was really pretty to see.
I woke up extra early today to make sure I could get out without a problem today, but it seems most of the roads are clear, so I actually could have slept an extra half hour -sigh-.
Me and early mornings do not mix so well. I am a verah verah sleepy Woof.
Otherwise, life is pretty good. Some road bumps here and there, but otherwise looking up in some major ways. Katt put up some Christmas decorations the other day, which as really cool.
I’ve also discovered a cool new TV Show, “Chuck”. What more can I say, Adam Baldwin, a really hot blonde, a nerd herder. GOod recipe for TV success!

I had a great run today. I decided to do a 5k run instead of my normal HIIT training. I never had a problem losing my breath or getting sore knees at all. It was th emost fun I’ve had running in years. I think I am going to alternate HIIT with steady state running and see how it works for me.
Katt and I did a video for one of our sites last night and I was really happy with how my body looks. I don’t get a chance to see it from various angles, and I was very happy to see muscles rippling! It was really encouraging and has motivated me to keep working hard. Vanity is always a good motivator.
I had a nice long weekend. It’s amazing how being so busy for a while enhances your appreciation of having quiet time.

According to my site stats, I have had 1000 search queries for “leaking semen” delivering people to my journal in the last 11 days.
Interesting. I don’t seem to recall leaking any semen lately. Even with the PA, everything works just fine. In fact, it works better than before.
Maybe it was my vasectomy? I no longer leak any sperm -at all-. I am infertile. Woo fucking hoo!!! I am very happy about that, trust me. Ejaculate doesn’t count, since it it just a carrier fluid.
Leaking semen.. nope. It’s all quite deliberate thanks!

I just reviewed a blog for janesguide that I really liked, so I thought I’d mention it here as well.
Calico : The Dominatrix Next Door
I really enjoyed reading her blog, so much so that I gave it my pick on janesguide and have linked to it on my own blog. Calico is a dominatrix and fetish model from NYC and she uses her blog to talk about her experiences as a sex worker and her own personal fetish interests. I like that she talks about what it is like to be a sex worker and how perceptions of sex workers don’t match the reality. She also talks about her own interests and how the can be quite divergent from her work as a dominatrix.
She writes extremely well, and I found her to be really engaging and interesting. She speaks on topics I’ve dealt with, and spoken about, myself as someone in the sex industry. In my case, I’ve modeled, been a photographer, done pro dom sessions, and run a private kink club, and dealt with the misperceptions of those who don’t understand what we do.

I took advantage of the nice weather today and went and had the oil changed in the truck at the new wash/lube world here in town. They have just opened and were offering a free car wash with an oil change, so I figured I’d go for it since the truck was really dirty. After that I went and bought a K&N air filter for the truck. The K&N is a high airflow filter and is advertised as a one million mile filter, meaning you can clean it and re use it rather than buying a new filter every 9 months. It may be my imagination, but the truck always seems to run better after an oil change and air filter change. I wasn’t too impressed with the wash. My truck still had dirt on it afterwards.
I did some house cleaning early in the day. I woke up fairly early and had some excess energy to burn. I stopped at the local hardware store and bought some material to patch holes in the fence that were made by the wind storm the other night. Must protect the puppies. I also cleaned and vacuumed the inside of the truck; it was getting messy.
I am pretty pooped. I’ve been waking up at 6am for the last few weeks and by the end of the week I need some serious sleep. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to sleep very well as the dogs have been somewhat noisy at night. I could seriously use a good 10 hours of uninterrupted sleep. I am unlikely to get it.
We picked up a heated mattress pad the other day that allows Katt and I to control the heat on each of our sides of the bed. If she is cold she can turn up the heat and I will still be nice and cool. We’d been using a portable oil heater to heat the whole bedroom but it was too hot for me. The mattress pad has worked really well.
I went to look into getting fog lights put on the truck today, but most places were closed by the time I got to them. We’ve had a lot of fog and really wet weather and driving lights would make a huge difference to how well I can see the road. There have been times where I haven’t been able to see the lines on the freeway due to the rain and fog. I’d rather put out a little money and be safe than dead.
Otherwise things have been good with me. I have been busier than I am used to, but that has come with some added benefits.

I’m discontent!
All of the writers for TV and movies have gone on strike. This means new TV episodes for my favorite shows won’t be produced due to lack of scripts.
I am discontent!
Of course, I do support the writers, who want a cut of DVD sales and internet sales (they get no cut of sales currently in those mediums). So I’ll miss my shows, but I’ll survive.
I’ll just read my books instead.
